Set Public Hearing For_ <br />CONTINUED TO <br />FILE NUMBER <br />Approve an appropriation adjustment accepting a donation from the Woman's Club of Santa Ana <br />funds of $5,000 in revenue account (No. 02414002 57081) to increase the Police Department's Gifts <br />and Donations. <br />DISCUSSION <br />The Women's Club of Santa Ana has donated $5,000 to the Police Department's Canine Unit. The <br />donation was designated to be used at the discretion of the Chief of Police for canine use. The unit <br />will be using these funds for equipment purchases and canine training purposes. time patrolling the <br />streets. <br />FISCAL IMPACT <br />The appropriation adjustment will enhance the Police Department's Gifts and Donations revenue <br />account (No. 02414002 57081) by $5,000 and K-9 Animal Services expenditure (No. 02414430 <br />62120) BY $5,000. <br />APPROVED AS TO FUNDS AND ACCOUNTS: <br />L? 1 -- <br />Pau M.
