PARKS,RECREATION,AND <br />COMMUNITY SERVICES AGENCY <br />DEPARTMENT PROGRAMS <br />Recreation and Community Services <br />•Responsible for the delivery of a variety of programs and <br />services to the community that includes Recreation, <br />Community Centers, Events, Fitness Courts, Recreational <br />Trails, Municipal Swimming Pools, Community Gardens, <br />Senior Centers, Log Cabins, Skate Parks, Lakes, Tennis <br />Center, Stadium, and the Santa Ana Zoo. Provides support <br />to the Youth Commission. <br />Santa Ana Zoo <br />•Responsible for providing a destination for the community <br />and surrounding region to have fun, adventure, <br />inspiration, learn about conservation, wildlife health and <br />care, and educate the community to save wildlife and wild <br />spaces. <br />Administration <br />•Responsible for providing management and <br />administrative services to support the department, <br />including financial record keeping, processing agreements, <br />creating reports, office operations, and support to the <br />Parks, Recreation and Community Services Commission <br />and City Council School Collaboration Subcommittee. <br />256
