During months 3 —8, WIA participants will continue their "hands-on" job training opportunities while they <br />continue to meet with our key staff (weekly and/or monthly) to fulfill their education and career training goals. <br />Participants will be placed in one of six OCCTAC programs/job training placements at our Center or community <br />sites: 1 & 2) OCCTAC Early Start Program and/or OCCTAC Preschool Program, 3) OCCTAC After -School Arts <br />Program, 4) OCCTAC Learning Academy Program, 5) OCCTAC Media Lab and 6) OCCTAC Office/reception. Please <br />see Table 3. During this period of time, all WIA participants will be employed and receive $8.00 per hour, and <br />encouraged to work up to 30 hours per week. What services will be offered after youth exits the program and how will program keep in touch with youth <br />who have existed? <br />The OCCTAC staff will provide 12 -month follow-up services for "exited" participants. OCCTAC is committed to <br />empowering transitional age youth with and without special needs to reach their highest potential in life. WIA <br />participants that exit the program will be encouraged to continue to participate in the monthly Life Skills <br />Training, monthly social/support groups with the current participants, as well as other support services <br />(including counseling).
