Ordinance No. NS-XXX <br />Page 16 of 49 <br />2 <br />4 <br />5 <br />5 <br />2 <br />(8)Open Space (O) Zone. <br />This zone identifies areas reserved for community parks and other open spaces <br />and is identified, but not regulated, by this Article. Refer to City requirements <br />as identified in SAMC Chapter 41. Allowable structures in this zone are limited <br />to those necessary to support the specific purposes of the particular open <br />space area (e.g., sport-court enclosures and multi-purpose buildings in active <br />parks, and trails within passive parks).” <br />Figure 2.1 Regulating Plan with Existing R.O.W. <br /> <br />Section 9. Section 41-2007 (Uses Permitted) of Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />“Sec. 41-2007. Uses Permitted. <br />(a) Allowable Land Use Types. A parcel or building within the SD-84 area shall be <br />occupied by only the land uses allowed by the table entitled Use Standards <br />(hereinafter Use Standards Table) within the zone applied to the site by the <br />Regulating Plan. <br />(b) No building shall be erected, constructed, reconstructed or structurally altered <br />except in conformance with the provisions contained herein; nor shall any building <br />or land be used for any purpose other than that which is permitted in the district or <br />modified district in which such building or land is located.
