ROUTINE PREVENTATiyE MAINTENANCE WORK <br /> 1. Proposer agrees to regularly and systematically examine, clean, lubricate and adjust the vertical <br /> transportation.equipment and provide call-back service and, as conditions warrant, repair or <br /> replace all portions of the vertical transportation equipment included under this contract with the <br /> following exclusions only: <br /> a. Repairs required because of negligence, accident, or misuse of the equipment by anyone <br /> rather theta the Contractor, his employees., subcontractors., servants or agents, or other <br /> causes beyond the Contractor's control except ordinary wear. <br /> b. Repairs or replacement building items, such as hoistway or machine roorn walls and <br /> floors, car enclosures, car finish floor material, hoistway entrance frames, doors and sills, <br /> telephone equipment and signal fixture faceplates. <br /> c' Mainline and auxiliary disconnect switches,fuses, and feeders.to control panels. <br /> d. Lamps for car and machine room illuminations. <br /> 2. In performing the above4ndicated work, Contractor agrees to provide only genuine parts used <br /> by the manufacturers of the equipment for replacement or repair, and to use only those <br /> lubricants obtained from and/or recommended by the manufacturer of the equipment. <br /> 0. The preventative maintenance specified Is considered the minmurn for all equipment. <br /> a. If specific equipment covered by this Contract requires additional maintenance for safe <br /> and reliable operation, then the Contractor shall perform the required maintenance, <br /> 4.
