Civic Center Dri ve, Suite 200 <br />Santa Ana, CA 92701 <br />RE : Attachment K -Lett e r of Support from Employe rs <br />Dear Ms. Barba: <br />In lieu of forma l letters of support from prosp ective employers w ho w ill serve as partne rs prov iding paid <br />work expe ri ences for youth participating in our propo sed Rebuilding Careers for Young Adults program, I <br />w ould like to share that, although forma l employer partners have not yet been fin alized , Working <br />Wardrobes has ini tiated preliminary discu ss ion s with a range of prospective work sites and employe rs <br />ac ro ss var ious industries w ho are prepa red to se rve this role should we b e awa rd ed the proposed grant. <br />If awa rd ed funding, Working Wardrobes is w illing to submit forma l Letters of Commitment from <br />particip ating work site partners to the City of Santa Ana, co nfirming their active support and pa rticipati o n <br />in this cr itical program component. <br />To secure a w ide variety of robust plac eme nt opportunities, we will leverage our Board of Directors-who <br />repre se nt diverse indu strie s ac ro ss Oran ge County-alon g with our es tabli shed corporate partners and <br />prominent funders in sec tors such as he althca re and finance. Includ ed with this letter is our Board of <br />Directors ro st er, which demonstrates the breadth of i ndu st rie s represen t ed . <br />Add itionall y, we wil l work to ensure that ho st site placements inc lude regional ho spital s, logistics <br />companies, IT service prov id ers, and additional busin esses al igned with participants' goals . Coupled with <br />th e paid work experience opportunities to be made available to participants w ithin our social enterpri se <br />division, th ese work site partn er sh ip s wil l enab le us to provide well-round ed, rea l-world experien ces that <br />prepare youn g adults for mean in gfu l and stable employment. <br />We are energized by the momentum thi s initiative is already generating and are confident that, with <br />funding from the City of Santa Ana, we can provid e transformative opportuniti es for out-of-sc hool youth <br />in Santa Ana, positioning t hem for l ong-t erm success.
