Mayor Amezcua reiterated her support for <br />the community and opposition to the current events, affirming her service to all <br />communities including immigrants, Latino, AAPI, and African -American residents. She <br />shared a personal incident, stated that she does not support ICE and did not request <br />the National Guard's presence, stressed the importance of immigration reform, and <br />urged a focus on beneficial reform for millions. She acknowledged hearing the <br />community and expressed sorrow for their experiences.
