The following speakers addressed City Council in person (time limit = 1 % minutes): <br />1. Selina Gallegos spoke regarding Agenda Item No. 10, requested transparency for <br />destruction of records, and briefly spoke regarding the city's current climate related <br />to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). <br />2. Kelly Kraus -Lee spoke in favor of Agenda Item No. 20 and spoke regarding <br />residents' sentiments and the city's current climate related to ICE raids. <br />3. Owen West spoke in opposition to Agenda Item No. 24 and spoke regarding the <br />City's current climate related to ICE raids. <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve staff recommendations on the following <br />Consent Calendar Items: 5 through 21 and waive reading of all resolutions and <br />ordinances. <br />MINUTES: At 6:19 P.M., the Consent Calendar was considered. <br />Councilmember Hernandez announced a "No" vote on Agenda Item Nos. 10 and 18. <br />Councilmember Phan recused herself from Agenda Item No. 20 as some of the <br />involved parties are clients of her employer, Rutan and Tucker. <br />MOTION: Councilmember Bacerra moved to approve Consent Calendar Item Nos. <br />5 through 21, with the exception of Item Nos. 7, 8, and 9 which were continued to <br />the July 1, 2025 City Council meeting, seconded by Mayor Amezcua. <br />The motion carried, 7-0, by the following roll call vote: <br />AYES: COUNCILMEMBER BACERRA, COUNCILMEMBER <br />HERNAN DEZ, COUNCILMEMBER LOPEZ, <br />COUNCILMEMBER PENALOZA, COUNCILMEMBER PHAN, <br />MAYOR PRO TEM VAZQUEZ, MAYOR AMEZCUA <br />NOES: NONE <br />ABSTAIN: NONE <br />ABSENT: NONE <br />Status: 7 — 0 — Pass <br />S.
