The following speakers addressed City Council in person (time limit = 1 % minutes): <br /> 1. Selina Gallegos spoke regarding Agenda Item No. 10, requested transparency for <br /> destruction of records, and briefly spoke regarding the city's current climate related <br /> to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). <br /> 2. Kelly Kraus-Lee spoke in favor of Agenda Item No. 20 and spoke regarding <br /> residents'sentiments and the city's current climate related to ICE raids. <br /> 3. Owen West spoke in opposition to Agenda Item No. 24 and spoke regarding the <br /> City's current climate related to ICE raids. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve staff recommendations on the following <br /> Consent Calendar Items: 5 through 21 and waive reading of all resolutions and <br /> ordinances. <br /> MINUTES:At 6:19 P.M., the Consent Calendar was considered. <br /> Councilmember Hernandez announced a "No" vote on Agenda Item Nos. 10 and 18. <br /> Councilmember Phan recused herself from Agenda Item No. 20 as some of the <br /> involved parties are clients of her employer, Rutan and Tucker. <br /> MOTION: Councilmember Bacerra moved to approve Consent Calendar Item Nos. <br /> 5 through 21, with the exception of Item Nos. 7, 8, and 9 which were continued to <br /> the July 1, 2025 City Council meeting, seconded by Mayor Amezcua. <br /> The motion carried, 7-0, by the following roll call vote: <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEMBER BACERRA, COUNCILMEMBER <br /> HERNAN DEZ, COUNCILMEMBER LOPEZ, <br /> COUNCILMEMBER PENALOZA, COUNCILMEMBER PHAN, <br /> MAYOR PRO TEM VAZQUEZ, MAYOR AMEZCUA <br /> NOES: NONE <br /> ABSTAIN: NONE <br /> ABSENT: NONE <br /> Status: 7 — 0— Pass <br /> S.
