Staff Travel/Mileage <br /> 19.Participant Work Experience <br /> 12 youth receive payroll/wages for internships/work experience. Typically internships are 15 hours x <br /> $23.08/hour(avg.)x 10 weeks, plus FICA @.0765 =$44,722.20($44,718.74 SA/$3.46 Match). The <br /> internship teaches basic skills they will need to be successful in the workforce and provides experience to <br /> help refine their educational and vocational goals. SUFK OC internships cover a variety of interests, <br /> including Healthcare Administration, Culinary Arts,Property Management, and Cyber Security, SUFK <br /> OC sponsored internships are 10 weeks long with a maximum of 15 hours a week. Our community <br /> business partners that provide work experience and occupational training to mentored youth include <br /> Bracken's Kitchen(Culinary), Seabreeze Management Company(Property Management), and Norooz <br /> (Health Clinic),Greenlight Cyber(Cyber Security Company). <br /> 20. Participant Training <br /> Youth may receive a training stipend to participate in an occupational training program,becoming <br /> certified as either an Armed Guard or Security Guard or other WIOA approved training program. Our <br /> current business partner that provides occupational training is Sentri Institute(Armed Guard, Security <br /> Guard).Participant training includes 4 youth x$3000 paid occupational training=$12,000.00 <br /> In addition,youth may receive support for post-secondary education or trade school.This includes 4 <br /> youth x$6,000.00 paid support=$24,000.00. Youth employment goals may include pursuit of higher <br /> education or trade school. To that end, we help youth navigate challenges associated with college/trade <br /> preparation, college entry and financial aid. Once in college or trade school,we help with authorized <br /> expenses and we keep them on the path to graduation. <br /> 21.Participant Incentives @$500 average per youth=$10,000 <br /> Awards: $200(completion/skills gained) <br /> EXHIBIT D <br />
