1
Ocampo, Nuvia
From:Christy Taylor <Christy@christy-taylor.com>
Sent:Monday, February 10, 2025 11:45 AM
To:eComments, PBA
Cc:Christy Taylor
Subject:Transit Zoning Code SD-84 draft regulations
Follow Up Flag:Follow up
Flag Status:Flagged
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Dear City of Santa Ana,

I am wriƟng to you regarding the draŌ regulaƟons for the Transit zoning
code SD‐84. I am an owner of the building at 21 Fuller Street, Santa Ana. I
believe that our building is in the area that the regulaƟons are being re‐
draŌed for.

When we purchased the building in 2016, we were told by the City that
this would always be zoned as general industrial. Now I am learning that
the City is considering rezoning this property and as a result the property
would not only lose value, but would narrow the scope of the type of
business that could occupy and operate in the building. I am very
troubled by what the City is doing and never once has the City
approached me to get my input or concerns. I have not received any
informaƟon from the City.

Our tenant is equally disturbed given they don’t know how this will
impact their operaƟons and they employ 20 employees locally and
several others in other locaƟons. In fact, they have employees who live
in Santa Ana.

I have tried to call our Council member David Pendaloza several Ɵmes,
only to be sent to voicemail with no returned calls. I was just now sent
Planning Commission 1 – 166 3/6/2025
