Flores, Dora
From: Michael Lay <
Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2025 2:16 PM
To: eComment
Subject: Updated Parking Concern
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Hi,
I am emailing to voice my concern and frustrations about the new parking increase. The original price was still
somewhat understanding, but the new prices (doubling the cost) is upsetting and frustrating. I work on 4th
Street and am usually there in the evenings as well as all day on weekends, so this new price increase is
definitely impacting me, not to mention the other workers/staff who also work there. I am one of the workers
there who do not have a permit and would always be paying the regular price even though I work there. In order
to save money I have resorted to other forms of getting to work such as walking because these costs throughout
the days, weeks, and months do add up. I hope my voice, thoughts, and concerns allow you to see just the one
of many people it may impact and shift the decision to revert back to the old cost for parking.
Thank you,
Michael Lay
Sent from Yahoo Mail for Whone
