Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Dear Members of the City Council,
I am writing to express concern about the high parking fees that employees, like myself, are required to pay
when commuting to work in the city. These fees are becoming a significant Financial burden, particularly as
public transportation options are limited in my area. For many of us, driving and paying for parking is not
optional, and the current fees make it increasingly difficult to manage our daily expenses.
As an employee in downtown Santa Ana, the cost of parking adds a considerable strain on my finances, which
was not something I anticipated when accepting my position. High parking fees also affect many of my
colleagues, and we feel that employees are being disproportionately impacted by these costs.
I respectfully request the City Council consider lowering parking fees for employees or implementing
discounted parking options to ease this burden. This would help make the city more affordable for workers and
ensure it remains a viable place to live and work.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Javier Ildefonso
10
