Flores, Dora
From: david ardentquest.com <
Sent: Tuesday, September 16, 2025 3:00 PM
To: eComment
Subject: SOCCER FIELD ACCESS ISSUES -LA ACADEMIA
Attention: This email originated from outside of City of Santa Ana. Use caution when opening attachments or links.
Dear Council Members,
My name is David Phelps, a resident of Costa Mesa and an avid supporter of LA ACADEMIA. My son is 12
years old now and has been playing soccer for 7 years. He's been playing for LA ACADEMIA/ALBION since
September 2024, which has been the best soccer experience of my child's life; he loves his teammates, coaches,
and always speaks highly of everyone. The organization, coaches, and everyone involved have been absolutely
top-notch. The care, love of the game, their experience, and expertise shows without question how dedicated
they are to the players and families. The kindness they share is what brings a community together, to enjoy, to
experience, a friendly competition shared around the world. As long as they're around they will continue to
elevate their communities and look after the children of today and the children of tomorrow whom soccer is
their passion.
Best wishes,
David Phelps
25
