THE SEIR DID NOTEVALUATE A SPECIFIC HOTEL USE <br /> During the Planning Commission hearing, Planning staff suggested that hotels were <br /> evaluated under the SEIR.21 However,the Draft SEIR project description looked at 1,583 residential <br /> units (encompassing approximately 1,850,000 square feet of building space),80,000 square feet of <br /> retail space, and 300,000 square feet of office space. (Draft SEIR,p. 1-3.).Nowhere was the hotel <br /> speci icall listed sted or mentioned.Nor does the SEIR's air quality/GHG emission modeling consider <br /> hotel uses.This can be verified by the CalEEMod worksheets,which do not identify any hotel uses <br /> during any of the phased construction or ultimate operations of the entire Village Specific Plan.22 <br /> (See Figure 4 below.)
