REGULAR MEETING OF NOVEMBER 4, 2008 <br />*** END OF CONSENT CALENDAR *** <br />BUSINESS CALENDAR <br />2. FEDERAL NEIGHBORHOOD STABILIZATION PROGRAM <br />Following a discussion, it was requested that s#aff provide updates on the (. <br />progress of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program. <br />Commissioner Stroud moved #hat the program guidelines be amended to <br />include that military veterans and disabled persons, along with those who live <br />and work in the City, be given priority; that open space be considered as a <br />priority option under Program 5; and that the category of the number of <br />households to be assisted by income be amended in Section G of the NSP <br />Substantial Amendment on page 14 as follows: from 5 to 10 households <br />between 50 percent and SD percent of area median income and from 35 to 30 <br />households between $0 percent and 120 percent of area median income. <br />Commissioner Vipase~ior seconded the motion. <br />Motion passed. <br />Motion: <br />Recommend that the City Council: <br />1.
