The item was continued for another 45 <br />days at which time the Ad Hoc Committee wiN submit recommendations to <br />the full Council, In the meantime, the Early Prevention and Intervention <br />Commission, Environmental and Transportation Advisory Committee, <br />Historic Resources Commission, Human Relations Commission, Library <br />Board, and the Youth Commission meeting schedules were suspended. <br />Mentioned that budget deliberations continue. <br />~• COMMlSSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Vasquez <br />Reminded everyone of the TKO documentary and mentioned that she is <br />an advocate for this type of activity, <br />Provided flyers regarding the Apri! 4, 2009, film screening at the Yost <br />Theater of Viva La Causa, the story of Cesar Chavez and Dolores Huerta. <br />Ms. Huerta is scheduled to be a speaker at this event, <br />It being her last meeting, Commissioner Vasquez mentioned that it has <br />been a pleasure serving on this Commission and thanked staff for a!! of <br />their service. <br />Commissioner Blst <br />• Offered to work with staff and the neighborhood representative regarding <br />the Birch Street properties. <br />Commissioner Verino <br />• Presented Commissioner Vasquez with a certificate of recognition and <br />thanked her for her two years of service. <br />• Mentioned that she is looking forward to viewing the documentaries and <br />attending the Ca!
