The consensus amongst <br />neighborhoods is for more open space and retail opportunities. The team is <br />working on the concept pion and will bring it to the Commission in January. <br />• Mentioned that the transit project is moving along very well and gave a brief <br />update. <br />• Mentioned that we are waiting to hear about the second round of NSP funding in <br />December and that a young family was preparing to move into a home they <br />recently acquired through the NSP program. <br />• Welcomed newly appointed Commissioner Erick Plascencia. <br />COMMISSION MEMBER COMMENTS <br />Commissioner Villasenor <br />• Welcomed new Commissioner Erick Plascencia. <br />• Looking forward to receiving updates on Council's direction regarding the transit <br />project. <br />Commissioner Reyes <br />• Mentioned that he attended the NSP Ribbon Cutting ceremony on November 5 <br />on Westwood Street. Suggested using cards for future homes indicating energy <br />efficient fieatures. <br />• Inquired about the possibility of having Porto's Bakery open a store in Santa <br />Ana. <br />• Requested a BristoUMemory Lane update.
