PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />AT THIS TIME members of the public may address the Community Redevelopment <br />and Housing Commission regarding these agenda items only. <br />Elsa Gomez spoke about protesting the BID assessment. She indicated that the <br />Clerk of the Council has a complete list of several hundred signatures that she <br />submitted to the Council <br />Ben Grabiel also spoke regarding the BID and stated his belief that signatures from <br />more than 50% of the assessed business owners had been collected. Feels the BID <br />should be dropped because of a!I the opposition. <br />AGENDA <br />BUSINESS CALENDAR <br />Matters listed on the Business Calendar are generally proposals for new legislation <br />or items requiring discussion. <br />~-) 1. LOAN AGREEMENT WITH ORANGE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT <br />CORPORATION AND AUTHORIZATION OF RELOCATION PLAN (Shelly <br />Landry-Boyle) <br />Motions: 1. Recommend that the City Council: <br />a} Direct the City Attorney to prepare a loan agreement with <br />Orange Housing Development Corporation for the acquisition <br />of a 24 unit multi-family property located at 901 E. Sixth <br />Street in an amount not to exceed $1,300,000 and authorize <br />the Executive Director of the Community Development <br />Agency or designee to execute all required documents. <br />b} Adop# a resolution approving the Relocation Plan for <br />residential property located at 901 E. Sixth Street. <br />2. Recommend that the Community Redevelopment Agency direct the <br />Agency General Counsel to prepare a loan agreement with Orange <br />Housing Development Corporation for the acquisition of a 24 unit <br />multi-family property located at 901 E.
