STATEWIDE SANITARY SEWER SYSTEMSGENERAL ORDER2022-0103-DWQ <br />2.3.3.Water Quality Analysis Specifications <br />Spill monitoring must be representative of the monitored activity (40 Code of Federal <br />Regulations section 122.41(j)(1)). <br />Sufficiently Sensitive Methods <br />Sample analysis must be conducted according to sufficiently sensitive test methods <br />approved under 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 136 for the sample analysis of <br />pollutants. For the purposes of this General Order, a method is sufficiently sensitive <br />when the minimum level of the analytical method approved under 40 Code of Federal <br />Regulations Part 136 is at or below the receiving water pollutant criteria. <br />Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program-Accredited Laboratories <br />The analysis of water quality samples required per this General Order must be <br />performed by a laboratory that has accreditation pursuant to Article 3 (commencing with <br />section 100825) of Chapter 4 of Part 1 of Division 101 of the Health and Safety Code. <br />(Water Code section 13176(a).)
