(G) Unprotected direct or indirect connection between the public water system <br />and an auxiliary water system. <br />(H) A situation which presents an immediate health hazard to the public water <br />system. <br />(4) Water service termination procedures shall include the following items: <br />(A) For conditions (3)(A), (3)(B), (3)(C) or (3)(D) of subsection (j) above, the <br />agency will terminate service to a customer's premises after written notice has been <br />sent, specifying the corrective action needed and the time period in which it must be <br />done. If no action is taken within the allowed time period, water service may be <br />terminated. <br />(B) For conditions (3)(E), (3)(F), (3)(G) or (3)(H) of subsection (j) above, the <br />agency will take the following steps: <br />(i) Make a reasonable effort to advise customer of intent to terminate water <br />service. <br />(ii) Terminate water supply and lock service valve. The water service will <br />remain inactive until correction of violations has been approved by the agency. <br />(k) Information requests. Upon request, the agency will provide interested <br />parties with copies of section 39-29, rules and regulations for the testing and <br />maintenance of devices, and such other advice, information, illustrative sketches, <br />drawings and data as may be necessary to familiarize the customers, engineers, <br />architects and others with agency requirements. <br />Sec. 39-30. - Certification of water supply. <br />Before the issuance of any permit or variance or the signing of any tract map, <br />parcel map, lot split, or improvement plans, a certification must be obtained from the <br />agency stating that the water system supplying the property meets the requirements for <br />the last rate classification of the city by the American Insurance Association in supply, <br />distribution facilities and fire hydrants, or that the property is or will be served by the city. <br />Sec. 39-31. - Greywater systems. <br />No person shall construct or maintain a greywater system, as defined by the <br />Water Code of the State of California. In order to avoid the potential health hazard <br />presented by a greywater system, the public works agency may discontinue water <br />service to any premises on which a greywater system has been installed until such <br />system is removed. <br />Sec. 39-32. - Recycled water —Source of recycled water. <br />Ordinance No. NS-2921 <br />Page 30 of 57 <br />
