III <br />ATTENTION!!! <br />Toilet Papers do not clog the <br />sewer system but Flushable Wipes <br />DOM <br />To avoid sewer overflows due to <br />clogging of sewer pipes, do not <br />flush the flushable wipes into the <br />toilet; instead, place them in a <br />trash can. <br />➢ <br />What NOT to Flush! <br />Toilet is NOT a Trash Can!! <br />Flushable wipes are not dispersible products <br />❖ "Dispersible" means products <br />dissolve in the water and become <br />part of water flow. Toilet paper is <br />dispersible. <br />Personal Cleansing products, such as <br />flushable wipes are not "flushable" <br />or "dispersible." <br />❖ Instead, they will clog your toilets. <br />ri �-ter y <br />Never FLUSH the flushable wipes. Place <br />them in a trash can. <br />➢ Following items belong in the trash can: <br />❖ Cleaning wipes ("disposable" wipes <br />or flushable wipes, facial wipes, baby <br />wipes, moist towelettes, disinfecting <br />wipes), etc. <br />❖ Condoms, Cotton balls, Swabs and <br />pads, Dental Floss, Tampons and <br />Applicators, Maxi -pads, Paper <br />Towels, etc. <br />❖ Flammable or explosive substances <br />such as paints, turpentine, nail polish <br />and polish remover, motor oil, <br />transmission fluids, etc. <br />What Happens Without <br />Your Help <br />Maintenance crew removing wipes from <br />clogged pumps. <br />➢ If you flush non -dispersible <br />items down the toilet, you may <br />unintentionally cause a messy <br />sewer overflow in your house, <br />your neighborhood, or <br />someone else's neighborhood. <br />➢ During stormy weather, the <br />wipes can clog the sewer <br />pumps and a sewer overflow <br />could result. <br />➢ Your health..
