We encourage you to <br />contact us prior to the Public Hearing if <br />you have any questions. <br />Historic Resources Commission <br />Action: The Historic Resources <br />Commission will hold a Public Hearing to <br />receive public testimony, and will take <br />action on the item described below. Their <br />decision is final unless appealed to the <br />City Council within 10 days of the decision <br />by any interested party or group. <br />Project Location: 1412 North Louise <br />Street located within the Single -Family <br />Residence (R1) zoning district. <br />Project Applicant: Ricardo and Rebeca <br />Diaz (Property Owner & Applicant) <br />Project Description: Request for <br />approval of Historic Resources <br />Commission Application (HRCA) No. <br />2024-10, Historic Register Categorization <br />(HRC) No. 2025-07, and Historic Property <br />Preservation Application (HPPA) No. <br />2025-09 to allow the placement and <br />categorization of the subject site in the <br />Santa Ana Register of Historical <br />Properties as "Contributive" and to <br />execute a Historic Property Preservation <br />Agreement with the City of Santa Ana. <br />Environmental Impact: Pursuant to the <br />California Environmental Quality Act <br />(CEQA) and the CEQA Guidelines, the <br />project is exempt from further review <br />under Section 15331 (Class 31), as these <br />actions are designed to preserve historic <br />resources. A Categorical Exemption, ER <br />No. 2025-72 will be filed for this project. <br />Meeting Details: This matter will be <br />heard on Tuesday, September 23, at <br />4:30 p.m. in the City Council Chamber, 22 <br />Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, CA 92701. <br />Members of the public may attend this <br />meeting in -person or join via Zoom.
