There is hereby established a basic compensation plan for all <br />full-time employees who are now employed or shall in the future be employed in any of <br />the designated classifications of employment represented by CASA as listed in this MOU <br />and its attachments. <br /> Salary Schedule. The basic salary schedule contains numerous salary ranges, each <br />comprised of six (6) steps or rates of pay. <br />The steps within each rate range are identified by the letters “AA” through “E” inclusive, <br />with Step “AA” being the lowest step in the range. <br />Step “AA” is the normal beginning pay rate. <br />Step “A” is an automatic increase after the completion of six (6) months of service in Step <br />“AA”. <br />Steps “B” through “D” is an automatic step increase after the completion of twelve (12) <br />months of service in the preceding step. <br />Step “E” is a performance based step increase which an employee may be eligible to <br />receive after the completion of twelve (12) months of service in Step “D”. <br />The assignment of classifications to salary ranges is listed in Exhibit A of this MOU and <br />the City’s salary schedule, as periodically updated and published by the City. <br /> Salaries. <br />A. Effective the first full pay period after July 1, 2025, classifications represented by <br />this MOU shall receive a base salary increase of five percent (5%). <br />B. Effective the first full pay period after July 1, 2026, classifications represented by <br />this MOU shall receive a base salary increase of four percent (4%). <br />C. Effective the first full pay period after July 1, 2027, classifications represented by <br />this MOU shall receive a base salary increase of three percent (3%). <br />D. Although there are some retroactive compensation adjustments included in this <br />2025 - 2028 MOU, all compensation adjustments provided for in this MOU shall <br />apply only to those employees who are employed on the day in which the City <br />Council approves this MOU.
