Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager and the Chief of Police, or their <br />designee(s), to enter into agreements with the City of Anaheim for the FY 2024 <br />Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE <br />CHIEF OF POLICE OR THEIR DESIGNEE(S) TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR THE FY2024 URBAN AREA <br />SECURITY INITIATIVE FUNDING PROGRAM <br />2. Authorize the City Manager and the Chief of Police to execute agreements <br />(transfer agreement and award agreement) with the City of Anaheim accepting the <br />FY 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program in the amount of $1,655,974 <br />for the period of November 12, 2025 through March 31, 2027 (Agreement Nos. A- <br />2025-XXX and A-2025-XXX). <br />3. Approve and authorize the City Manager and the Chief of Police to execute the <br />Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Anaheim accepting the FY 2024 <br />Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program. <br />4. Approve an Appropriation Adjustment recognizing $1,655,974 in grant revenue <br />from the FY 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative funding program revenue account <br />and appropriate same to the FY 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative Program Grant <br />expenditures accounts. (Requires five affirmative votes)
