ARTICLE I <br />1.0 RECOGNITION <br />1.1 Pursuant to the provisions of the Meyers-Millias-Brown Act, Government Code §3500, et <br />seq., the City of Santa Ana (hereinafter called the "City") has recognized the Service <br />Employees International Union, Local 721 (hereinafter called the "Union" or "SEIU") as <br />the recognized representative of the bargaining unit which includes all full-time employees <br />employed by the City in classifications listed in Exhibit A of this Memorandum of <br />Understanding ("MOU"). <br />1.2 During the term of this MOU, no substantive issue of representation shall be raised contrary <br />to this MOU, except as provided in the City's Employer -Employee Relations Resolution <br />("EERR") No. 81-75. <br />2025 MOU City of Santa Ana & SEIU Full -Time Employees Unit Page 7 <br />
