l�w> S <br />SINCE 198S <br />January 20, 2026 <br />Support for Downtown Santa Ana Clean &amp; Safe Program — Agenda Item 16 <br />Dear Mayor and Members of the City Council, <br />I am writing to express my strong support for the Downtown Santa Ana Clean &amp; Safe <br />Program and to respectfully urge you to approve the agreement before you. <br />As;a long-time business owner in Downtown Santa Ana, I have seen firsthand how essential the <br />Clean & Safe Program is to the health and success of our downtown. The program plays a vital <br />role in keeping the area clean, safe, and welcoming for customers, employees, residents, and <br />visitors. These services directly support local businesses and contribute to the overall vitality of <br />Downtown Santa Ana. <br />DTSA Services has done an amazing job supporting the community. The team is visible, <br />responsive, and consistently follows through when issues arise. A key reason for the program's <br />effectiveness is the leadership of Jose Romo, who is deeply knowledgeable about the issues <br />facing Downtown Santa Ana. Jose is on top of matters as they come up and is always willing to <br />assist business owners when asked, often helping with issues beyond Clean & Safe services. His <br />responsiveness and commitment have earned the trust of many in the downtown business <br />community. <br />The Clean & Safe Program is a vital component of a thriving downtown.
