Compliance with the preflight <br /> checklist, post-flight inspection, and the immediate repair of mechanical problems will ensure the <br /> availability and safety of the Department's UAS. <br /> The UAS Commander will designate a UAS Maintenance Officer who will coordinate maintenance <br /> for the UAS. This assignment can be in addition to other duties of a team member or someone <br /> outside the UAS Team. Maintenance will be scheduled when it has the least impact on operations, <br /> if feasible.
