(9) CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> 9. Provide the City with copies of bills (introduced or amended) or proposals pertaining to issues of <br /> concern/interest to City, particularly those affecting or relating to City's Legislative Program. <br /> 10. Track said legislation and provide the City with advance notice of hearings or critical actions relating to those <br /> bills or issues.At the request of the City, prepare briefing materials such as memos summarizing legislation. <br /> 11. At the request of the City, assist with drafting position letters on legislation or language for City policy <br /> resolutions. <br /> 12. Coordinate meetings with State Legislators and state agency leaders to provide the City the opportunity to <br /> meet with key decision-makers on pertinent City issues. <br /> 13. Provide regular updates on the political landscape in Sacramento to help provide context, and identify <br /> opportunities and potential issues. Provide monthly reports of activities pursued or accomplished on behalf <br /> of the City. <br /> 14. Arrange for an annual visit to the City of Santa Ana for a legislative committee meeting and/or to meet with <br /> the City Manager and/or designated City officials. <br /> 15. Prepare and file all applicable Fair Political Practices Commission lobbying documents and reports within all <br /> applicable deadlines, per the provisions of the Political Reform Act of 1974 as amended. Provide the City <br /> notification of any changes or modifications that may be pertinent. <br />
