Appendices which are adopted pursuant to this section are as follows: <br /> Appendix I, Patio Covers <br /> Appendix J, Grading <br /> Section 2. Section 8-60 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Sec. 8-60. —Title (Volume 1, Chapter 1, Division 11, Section 101.1) <br /> Insert City of Santa Ana into the text as the name of the jurisdiction in Section 101.1 <br /> of Division II of Chapter 1. <br /> Section 3. Section 8-61 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Sec. 8-61. — Enforcement Agency (Volume 1, Chapter 1, Division 11, Section 103.1) <br /> Insert Building afety Division into the text as the name of the department in Section <br /> 103.1 of Division 11 of Chapter 1. <br /> Section 4. Section 8-96 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> Sec. 8-96. - Time limitation of application (Volume 1, Chapter 1, Division 11, Section <br /> 105.3.2) <br /> Section 105.3.2 is amended to read as a follows: <br /> Sec. 105.3.2. Time limitation of application. An application for a permit for any <br /> proposed work shall be deemed to have been abandoned 180 days after the date <br /> of filing, unless the permit has been issued; except that the Building Official may <br /> extend the time for action by the applicant for a period not exceeding one hundred <br /> and eighty (180) days upon request by the applicant showing that circumstances <br /> beyond the control of the applicant have prevented action from being taken. No <br /> application shall be extended more than once. In order to renew action on an <br /> application after expiration, the applicant shall resubmit plans and pay a new plan <br /> review fee. <br /> An application for a certificate of occupancy shall be deemed to have been <br /> abandoned 12 months after the date of filing, unless the certificate of occupancy <br /> has been issued or the building permit associated with the certificate of occupancy <br /> has not expired; except that the Building Official may extend the time for action by <br /> the applicant for a period not exceeding one hundred and eighty (180) days upon <br /> request by the applicant showing that circumstances beyond the control of the <br /> applicant have prevented action from being taken.
