"Board of Supervisors" means the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, a political <br /> subdivision of the State of California. <br /> "CEO/Office of Risk Management" means the Risk Manager, County Executive Office, Risk <br /> Management, County of Orange, or designee, or upon written notice to City, such other person or <br /> entity as shall be designated by the County Executive Officer or the Board of Supervisors. <br /> "Chief Real Estate Officer" means the Chief Real Estate Officer, County Executive Office, <br /> County of Orange, or upon written notice to City, such other entity as shall be designated by the <br /> County Executive Officer. <br /> "Chief Engineer"means the Chief Engineer, OC Public Works and/or District,County of Orange, <br /> or designee, upon written notice to City, such other person or entity as shall be designated by <br /> Director. <br /> "County Counsel" means the County Counsel, County of Orange, or designee, or upon written <br /> notice to City, such other person or entity acting in a similar capacity as shall be designated by the <br /> Board of Supervisors. <br /> "County Executive Officer" means the County Executive Officer, County Executive Office, <br /> County of Orange, or designee, or upon written notice to City, such other person or entity as shall <br /> be designated by the Board of Supervisors. <br /> "Director of OC Public Works" or "Director" means the Director of Orange County Public <br /> Works or designee. <br /> "Treasurer-Tax Collector" means the Treasurer-Tax Collector, County of Orange, or designee, <br /> or upon written notice to City, such other person or entity as shall be designated by the Board of <br /> Supervisors. <br /> 2. PREMISES (1.1 SR) <br /> District hereby leases to City, and the City leases from the District, the District Property located <br /> within the Santa Ana River Channel, commonly known as River View Golf Course in Santa Ana, <br /> CA, as described in Exhibit A and shown on Exhibit B, ("Premises") which exhibits are attached <br /> hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. The Premises are accepted"as is" and"where is" <br /> by City, subject to any and all existing easements and encumbrances. <br /> 3. USE (1.2 SR) <br /> City's use of the Premises shall be limited to continuation of the existing golf course facility and <br /> operations, including operation of an eighteen-hole public golf course and landscape <br /> improvements (e.g., grading, landscape architecture, cart paths, tees,plantings, irrigation systems <br /> and any repair and maintenance related thereto. No additional landscaping, trees, shrubbery or <br /> plantings shall be added to the Premises and landscaping will not be allowed to expand outside of <br /> the existing greens, without a county permit and prior written approval of the District.
