ARTICLE X <br /> 10.0 VACATION <br /> 10.1 Purpose. It is the policy of the City to grant employees vacation leave in order to provide <br /> them with a break in their regular work schedule, and this purpose will be used as a guide <br /> in the administration of the provisions of this Article. <br /> 10.2 Vacation. <br /> A. Members shall accrue vacation with pay on a monthly basis as set forth in the <br /> following table. <br /> Annual Monthly <br /> Beginning Vacation Accrual <br /> Years Accrued Rate <br /> 1 80 6.67 <br /> 2 80 6.67 <br /> 3 120 10.00 <br /> 4 120 10.00 <br /> 5 120 10.00 <br /> 6 124 10.33 <br /> 7 128 10.67 <br /> 8 132 11.00 <br /> 9 136 11.33 <br /> 10 140 11.67 <br /> 11 144 12.00 <br /> 12 148 12.33 <br /> 13 152 12.67 <br /> 14 156 13.00 <br /> 15 160 13.33 <br /> 16 168 14.00 <br /> 17 176 14.67 <br /> 18 184 15.33 <br /> 19 192 16.00 <br /> 20 or more 200 16.67 <br /> B. An employee who has completed less than one(1)year's service during the calendar <br /> year shall receive a proportionate fraction in accordance with the amount of service <br /> to their credit during the year; provided, however, no employee shall be entitled to <br /> use any vacation until they has completed six (6) months of continuous service. <br /> C. On or after the first (1st) day of the month following completion of six (6) months <br /> of continuous full-time service, an employee may be allowed to take all or a <br /> proportionate fraction of their earned vacation, subject to scheduling approval of <br /> the employee's supervisor. <br /> 38 <br />
