RESOLUTION NO. 2010- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING A GRANT APPLICATION FOR A <br />SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES REGIONAL PLANNING GRANT <br />UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN <br />DEVELOPMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN FURTHERANCE <br />THEREOF. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines <br />and declares that the Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grants (from the <br />U.S. Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010) is administered by the Department of <br />Housing and Urban Development (HUD, and aims to improve regional planning efforts <br />that integrate housing and transportation decisions at the state, regional and local level. <br />Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves the <br />City's grant application for the Sustainable Communities Regional Planning Grants <br />(from the U.S. Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2010) and authorizes the City <br />Manager to execute all necessary documents related to the Grant Application including <br />actions necessary to accept the Grant if approved. <br />Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its <br />adoption by the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the <br />vote adopting this Resolution. <br />ADOPTED this day of , 2010. <br />Miguel A.
