11/03/20, .According to <br /> main focus was directed at being released from custody in order to support an <br />unknown niece. also knew of no problems between any person(s) and prior <br />to his death, observing no suspicious activity around his detention cell until the <br />arrival of custodial staff. <br />At approximately 0709 hours, we concluded our interview with <br />At approximately 0709 hours, DA Inv. Upon being questioned, told us that he <br />was not acquainted with the name of whom he knew to be ´and only spoke with <br />him in regard to phone usage. went on to tell us that he knew nothing of <br />lifestyle and was only made aware of his demise by the commotion occurring outside of his <br /> cell at the time of discovery.Prior to the conclusion of his interview, <br /> told us that his cell did not afford him visual access to the inside of cell, and <br />thus he witnessed none of the actions occurring inside of the cell. <br />At approximately 0715 hours, we concluded our interview with <br />At approximately 0715 hours, DA Inv. Brower and I conducted an interview with <br /> who had been identified as an SADF inmate being housed within the same cell as <br /> (D22) since 12/04/19. Upon being questioned, told us that he had a casual <br />acquaintance with to whom he referred by the nickname of ´due to <br />common/shared dayroom hours.During their infrequent discussions, learned a <br />smattering of information concerning past/family life inclusive of the passing of his <br /> mother and brother.In regard to <br /> possessed no knowledge. went on to tell <br />us that he knew of no problems had with anyone, neither custodial staff nor inmate. <br />Having no visual access to cell from his, was alerted to the emergency <br />involving death while inside his cell by the cries from the custodial staff member who <br />discovered (CO Fernandez) and the resultant commotion.
