SA 20-027 <br />Investigator: C. Gonzales #349 Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 12/3/2020 Date: December 3, 2020 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />MCCULLOCH said when they entered the jail he saw deputies and jail medical staff <br />providing cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) to . MCCULLOCH also saw had an <br />automated external defibrillator (AED) applied to his torso. <br />MCCULLOCH said he worked with patient paramedic ALEX SWANSON and documented <br />the condition and treatment of . had no pulse, not breathing, and had no blood <br />pressure. Glasgow coma scale showed three, resembling that of a deceased person. <br />At 0150 hours, was intubated followed by an intraosseous infusion line (I/O). <br />At 0158 hours, was administered 1 mg of epinephrine and a second dose at 0204 <br />hours. MCCULLOCH saw no changes in condition, and he remained asystole. <br />MCCULLOCH said was transported to Orange County Global Medical Center (OCGMC). <br />At 0209 hours, MCCULLOCH arrived at OCGMC; he provided the Trauma Staff with all <br />relevant medical information and released patient care to the medical personnel.
