Do you do 3 Charlie first and <br />then go over to 3 Delta? <br />FERNANDEZ: It just, eh, it just depends. Um, we have sliding doors, uh, that are, uh, <br />that open. Um, our bottom one for 3 Charlie, Delta doesn’t open but the <br />tops, uh, sliders do on both partitions. So I can walk around and I don’t <br />have to go on one side, do one side and then go and do the other. So <br />generally the way I do my checks, um, I’ll start on a, on the bottom tier <br />and it really doesn’t… I don’t really have a set whether I do it on 3 Charlie <br />side or 3 Delta first. I kinda mix it up just because I don’t want the <br />inmates to know when I’m coming around. <br />TOTH: Uh-huh. <br />FERNANDEZ: It’s more of a, uh, you know, a safety issue and, and you know, security. <br />So *** they kind of hopefully don’t have a, you know, know when I’m <br />gonna show up. Which is kind of what we do to keep it secure. <br />TOTH: Do you have like a mental checklist for yourself though? <br />FERNANDEZ: I do. *** (SPEAKING SIMULTANEOUSLY). <br />TOTH: So you know you hit everybody? <br />FERNANDEZ: Absolutely. <br />TOTH: Okay.
