Sheldon #339 Approved By: <br />Date of Report: 07/02/18 Date: 07/03/2018 <br />Page 1 of 1 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />CASE NAME: TAYLOR, DONADONY BLAKE <br />CLASSIFICATION: OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING (FATAL) <br />TYPE: INITIAL RESPONSE <br />AGENCY: SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />On Monday, July 2, 2018, at approximately 0010 hours, Orange County District Attorney <br />(OCDA) Supervising Investigator STAN BERRY contacted me regarding a Santa Ana Police <br />Department (SAPD) officer involved shooting. BERRY requested I respond to the public parking <br />structure located at 1020 West Civic Center Drive to assist in the investigation. <br />At approximately 0115 hours, I arrived on scene and met with investigators from OCDA, <br />SAPD, and the Orange County Crime Lab (OCCL), who were present to assist in the investigation. <br /> At approximately 0206 hours, SAPD Sergeant ABLE OROPEZA, #2499, conducted a <br />briefing of the known circumstances surrounding the incident.
