The shooting incident occurred at <br />approximately 2326 hours, on Monday, January 20, 2020, during the hours of darkness, on the <br />patio, at . The scene <br />was cordoned off by yellow and red police line tape. Uniformed FVPD personnel were stationed <br />to prevent access to and preserve evidence within the scene. At approximately 2330 hours, FVPD <br />Officer ENRIQUE OLIVERA, #313, began a crime scene log for incoming and outgoing personnel. <br />, and surrounding area <br />is described as follows: is a one bedroom, one bath <br />apartment with a living room and kitchen. There is a patio situated south of the living room and <br />that is enclosed by an approximately five foot tall, wood fence. The front door faces south and <br />there is a closet north of the front door. There is an ā€œLā€ shaped partition in the living room. <br />Within that, partition was a single size bed. There is a sliding glass door in the southern part of <br />the living room, which provides access to the patio area. There is a common area courtyard south <br />of the patio with a patio cover and a barbeque area. <br />SCENE EXAMINATION <br />There was a 21ft Taser cartridge, with wire, serial #C31050RCH (Evidence Marker #1), on <br />the ground in the living room and north of the patio at <br /> There were two cartridge cases (Evidence Marker #2), <br />headstamped 9mm Hornaday Luger, on a plant pot in the patio area.
