There was an <br />apparent bullet entrance hole (Photo Evidence Marker #B) on the north side of the patio wood <br />fence. There was an apparent bullet exit hole (Photo Evidence Marker #B1) on the south side of <br />the patio wood fence. There was apparent blood and medical debris on the ground on and <br />around the evidence. <br />There were two loaded magazines inside a black bag, underneath the bed in the “L” <br />shaped partition area. There was a gun box bearing a serial # 25-138884, and name MIGUEL <br />MERCADO, on a shelf and west of the single sized bed. There were two loaded magazines in the <br />gun box. There was black FN Belgium SCAR-H Cal 7.62x51 airsoft, replica assault rifle (serial # <br />H000529) and magazine, inside a cardboard box in the closet north of the front door. There was <br />a plastic ammunition box full of .45 caliber cartridges in the same closet. None of those items <br />was collected as evidence. <br />There was a Heckler & Koch (H&K), model USP, .45 semi-automatic pistol (serial # 25- <br />138884), secured in Sergeant MOSHER’s Police Vehicle #403. The firearm was unloaded, on safe, <br />with no magazine in the magazine well. MAGGAY collected the firearm as evidence. <br />EVIDENCE COLLECTION <br />The following items of evidence were collected by OCCL Forensic Scientist, CORRIE <br />MAGGAY, under the following Evidence Marker (EM) numbers: <br />• EM #1 One 21ft Taser cartridge serial #C31050RCH with wire <br />• EM #2 Two cartridge cases, headstamped 9mm Hornaday Luger <br />• EM #3 One cartridge case, headstamped 9mm Hornaday Luger <br />• EM #4 Two cartridges, headstamped 9mm Hornaday Luger <br />• EM #5 One bullet
