Tabb and I interviewed SAPD Ofc. Eric Majors. The <br />following is a brief sutninary of our interview. Refer to OCDA report and audio-recording for details. <br />Ofc. Majors has been a police officer for approximately 15 years and is assigned to Patol. Today, he <br />was working patrol duties when lie was dispatched to a radio call of a shooting in progress. Ofc. Majors <br />responded Code 3 (lights and siren) from tl'ie area of Grand and McFadden Avenries, along with Ofc. <br />Enriqriez;-G)fc.-Majors was aware tliat Ofc. Berwanger-had-located-the suspect vehicle wliich was now <br />on Main Street. Ofc. Majors drove northbound on Main Street from McFadden Avenue. <br />Ofc. Majors approached northbound and drove onto the southbound #1 lane of Main Street, in order to <br />block traffic. Ofc. Majors stopped his police vehicle and saw the suspect inside the white Toyota truck. <br />Ofc. Majors saw the suspect pull the slide back two times on a handgun in l'ffs possession. Ofc. Majors <br />yelled coinmands at the suspect, telling hiin to "prit the gun down" and "don't do it". <br />Ofc.Majors advised otlier officers that the suspect had chambered a rorind on two occasions. He then - <br />heard a-gunshot coming from the suspect vehicle. Ofc. Majors then heard the suspect veliicle's engine <br />revving-Officers began to approach and Ofc.
