Serrano requested my assistance on an officer involved shooting. He <br />briefed me along with several other detectives on the case. He advised that an assault with a deadly <br />weapon had occurred between two males. The suspect in the ADW fled in his vehicle which was <br />subsequently stopped by police officers in the area of 300 S. Main. The suspect then shot himself wile <br />inside his vehicle. Despite the self -inflicted wound, the suspect exited the vehicle with a handgun at <br />which time several officers fired at him.
