Santa Ana PD 2015-06456: Supplemental Repoit by #2616 Page 2 of 2 <br />WEDNESDAY: 03/11/2015 <br />12:50 <br />I was at my work station monitoring the police radio when I heard an officer involved shooting being <br />broadcasted. I was contacted by Corporal L. Rodriguez #2408 who asked me to assist with the <br />investigation. <br />14:05 <br />Sergeant G. Serrano #2338 of the Santa Ana Police Department Homicide Unit provided a briefing <br />regarding the facts surrounding the officer involved shooting. I was tasked to assist with subsequent <br />investigation and responded to the scene. <br />14:30 <br />I arrived and entered the crime scene located at 300 South Main Street. I checked in with Officer E. <br />Martinez #3349 who was maintaining a crime scene personnel log. <br />15:13 <br />Scene Supervisor Sergeant J. Smith #1998 provided a briefing on the circumstances surrounding the <br />officer involved shooting. I was then assigned to canvass the interior perimeter for witness along witli <br />Investigator C. McShane from the Orange Corinty District Attorney's Office, Special Assignments Unit. <br />15:30 <br />I conducted a walkthrough of the scene. After completing the walk throrigh of the scene, I was tasked to <br />return to the station to assist with witness interviews. I exited the crime scene and checked out with <br />Officer K.
