When the shot went off did either you or do you recall any officers <br />indicating out loud or over the air the suspect shot himself or anything to <br />that effect? <br />GARCIA: Uh, I heard several officers say something I did hear something over the <br />radio, uh, some officer said, uh, hey Dispatch we advise shots fired but it <br />was, it came from inside the vehicle. <br />SMITH: Okay. <br />(PAUSE @ 0:36:30 – 0:36:44) <br />SMITH: After that shot came out and you saw his <br /> and then the pressing of the gas and the releasing it, would you <br />estimate…it took for the officer to start their approach to the vehicle? <br />GLAVE: You might have missed a word in there. <br />SMITH: Oh. <br />GLAVE: You estimate, are you asking about time? <br />SMITH: Yeah, I’m sorry. Can you estimate time wise from the time you heard the <br />gunshot to the time officers made approach to the vehicle? <br />GARCIA: I can't give you a time but I mean it was, I mean… <br />SMITH: That’s okay if you can’t that’s fine. <br />GARCIA: Yeah, I can't. <br />SMITH: Do you recall which officers made the approach to the vehicle after the, <br />t <br />GARCIA: Um…no.
