Give me just one second here to make sure I covered everything, <br />sir ***. (PAUSE) Uh, did you end up giving any type of, uh, safety <br />statement or anything like that while you were at the scene? <br />SHIFFLETT: Uh, yes sir I think it was to the sergeant CHIN. <br />SMITH: Okay. Uh, and prior to this interview and after the shooting have you had <br />any either viewings of either on social media or on the news or anything <br />like that, uh, any video of the actual shooting? <br />SHIFFLETT: There’s, uh, *** it was on the news I mean I saw that there was video <br />footage from the, I think it was, uh, the South side of someone recording <br />it. <br />SMITH: Okay. Uh… <br />SHIFFLETT: I think it was stopped before the actual shooting though. <br />SMITH: Okay. So it was just a, uh, uh, a brief piece of it but not including the <br />officer involved shooting part of it? <br />SHIFFLETT: Yes, sir. <br />SMITH: Okay. Okay.
