17 handgun (used on this incident). Officer Casillas is right-handed and had his duty weapon positioned on the right <br />side of his hip. Officer Casillas had his Body Worn Camera (BWC) mount positioned in the center of the uniform. <br />However, he had already docked the camera back into its assigned housing dock. <br />Senior Criminalist Williams examined and photographed Officer Casillas, his uniform, Sam Browne (firearm, <br />handcuffs, taser, magazine pouch, holster) and the contents of his pocket. The handgun contained (1) cartridge in the <br />chamber and (16) cartridges in the magazine. The magazine had a capacity of (17) cartridges. <br />The double magazine pouch located on Officer Casillas's Sam Browne only contained (1) magazine which housed <br />(17) 9mm caliber cartridges. The headstamp on all of the cartridges were "Hornady 9mm LUGER". <br />The Officer processing was concluded. Lemmon #3174 notified me of an officer <br />involved shooting that occurred in the area of 200 N. Broadway in the city of Santa Ana.  Sergeant Lemmon  <br />requested that I respond to the scene in order to assist with the investigation. <br />1925 hours: <br />I arrived at the southern perimeter of the crime scene. Uniformed police officers in marked patrol units were providing  <br />security for the crime scene, preventing access into the scene by unauthorized vehicular and pedestrian personnel.   <br />2017 hours: <br />I checked into the scene with Santa Ana Police Department Patrol Officer A. Carrillo #3424, the designated scene <br />scribe. <br />2018 hours: <br />Santa Ana Police Department Patrol Sergeant L.
