her residence on 11/30/24 and returned to her residence on 12/01/24 at approximately 2015 hours. advised <br />that she took photographs of the scene from her balcony. showed me an image on her phone that depicted an <br />overhead picture of the crime scene. enhanced the image and showed me what appeared to be a black <br />shotgun with a brown forearm and grip. had no further information. <br />2234 hours: <br />SA Beavers and I contacted , who resided in apartment . advised that he called about the <br />individual with a shotgun in the "staircase" earlier in the day. later described the unknown male as a Hispanic <br />male, 30 to 40 years old, last seen wearing a brown or green jacket, pants, and a beanie or hood over his head. <br />believed the male's face was "dirty," and he had "stubble" for facial hair. <br />On 12/01/24, at approximately 1746 hours, was walking his dogs on Broadway. He entered the complex through <br />an eastern-facing pedestrian door located next to the driveway entrance on Broadway. <br /> was walking through a hallway towards the stairs located on the northern end of the building. As walked <br />through the hallway, he passed an open doorway along the southern wall of the hallway. The doorway led to a <br />stairwell that allowed access to an underground parking lot. recalled an unknown man was walking up the stairs, <br />towards the open doorway. The unknown man was carrying a black shotgun with a brown "pump." saw the male <br />carrying the shotgun vertically in his hand. The butt of the shotgun was being held in the palm of the unknown male's <br />hand, and the barrel was lying along his shoulder. saw the barrel of the shotgun reach the top of the unknown <br />male's shoulder. <br /> had not previously seen the unknown male in the area or within the apartment complex. was not sure if he <br />would be able to recognize the unknown male if he saw him again. <br /> walked the stairs to his apartment and called the property manager, " ." informed the manager of the <br />man carrying the shotgun and his location. later looked outside through a window that faced Broadway and saw <br />several police cars on Broadway. I asked if he had heard gunshots, and he said he had not. had no further <br />information. <br />After speaking with , SA Beaver and I walked through the downstairs parking lot and found no evidence related to <br />. I saw multiple surveillance cameras affixed to the ceiling. I contacted Security Guard , <br />who advised that the leasing office had access to view the footage captured by the surveillance cameras. The leasing <br />office was closed at the time SA Beavers and I conducted a walkthrough. <br />2313 hours: <br />I checked out of the scene with the scribe, Officer Carrillo. Detective F.
