On Sunday, December 1, 2024, I was working uniformed patrol with my partner Officer E. Burkey #3792, wearing a <br />distinct police uniform and driving a marked black and white Santa Ana Police patrol vehicle. At approximately 1733 <br />hours, we responded to the area of N. Broadway, and W. 2nd Street in reference to an officer involved shooting <br />incident. <br />Officer Burkey and I arrived at approximately 1736 hours. On arrival, Officer Burkey and I began setting up crime <br />scene tape in the area of N. Broadway and W. 4th Street. After setting up crime scene tape, I was tasked with holding <br />scene security at the intersection of N. Broadway and W. 2nd Street. <br />At approximately 1823 hours, I was relieved of my position and signed out from the crime scene log. <br />This concluded my assistance in the incident. <br />Officer D.
