On 12/01/2024 at approximately 1735 Officer Gonzalez and I responded to 2nd Street and Broadway in reference to <br />an officer involved shooting. Once on the scene, I was tasked to interview patrons that were inside the Guadalajara <br />Furniture, Inc. I spoke to the following individuals: <br />1.: said she was inside of the mentioned business towards the middle of the store and <br />heard what she believed to be three or four gunshots. provided no further information. <br />2.: said he was inside the mentioned business towards the middle of the store <br />and heard what appeared to five gunshots and related them to sounding like fireworks. provided no further <br />information. <br />3.: said he is an employee of the mentioned business and was sitting in his desk <br />located in the middle of the store. said he did not hear or see anything. provided no further <br />information. <br />4.: said on 12/01/2024 at approximately 1630 hours, she was outside walking her dog. <br />said she was on the west sidewalk of Broadway. said she saw a suspicious male, and described him <br />as having dark skin, possibly black, 5'6" to 5'7", bald, wearing a white t-shirt and baggy blue jeans. said she <br />saw the male pace back and forth in the parking lot just south of the Guadalajara Furniture, Inc store. At some <br />point, believed the male entered the furniture store. saw him leave the store and enter a brown smaller <br />car, unknown make or model, and leave the parking lot. As regards to the incident that occurred, said she <br />only saw police vehicles outside the store, but did not see or hear anything else. <br />5.I also saw there were two cameras affixed to the entrance of the store and one camera affixed to the southwest <br />corner of the store.
