After introductions, told us the following.
Last Sunday, 12/01/24, evening, she was working at the taco trailer with her boss, indicated the
trailer was parked at the same location as it was tonight, adjacent to Guadalajara Furniture, 117 N. Broadway, along
the east side of Broadway. She was standing on the east sidewalk of Broadway next to the taco trailer. was
standing in the middle as stood to her right. While standing behind the trailer, she could see across the street
through the taco trailer window.
Through the trailer window, she could see a subject standing across the street near the south corner of the Casa
Linda furniture store. She also noticed the subject was holding a long object. The subject appeared suspicious as he
manipulated the object and paced back and forth. Her boss, told her something was about to happen. As
moved to her right to get a better look, she heard gunshots and the subject drop to the ground. Upon hearing
the gunshots and seeing the subject drop, she ducked behind the trailer.
said she was frightened, lost her strength as her nerves got to her. She was taken inside of the furniture store,
Guadalajara Furniture, and eventually transported to the hospital.
She saw police personnel arrive after hearing the gunshots. She did not see police personnel arrive or contact the
subject prior to hearing the gunshots. When asked to describe the object the subject was holding, she could only
describe it as a long object.
did not see the subject point the object at anyone or communicate with anyone else. She did say she was
tending to the food that was cooking on the grill and not giving the subject her full attention.
said she heard 5 gunshots and could not tell from what direction they came from. After hearing the gunshots,
she suffered from her panic attack and could not tell us what happened next. She did see police personnel arrive after
hearing the gunshots.
She described the subject as a male, approximately 5’10 in height, NFD.
added she has been having issues with her eyesight and getting treatment for her ailment. That concluded the
interview with
Investigation continues…
F.
