The shooting occurred along the 500 block of South <br />Rosewood Avenue, Santa Ana. The scene was cordoned off with police crime scene tape. <br />Uniformed SAPD officers were stationed to prevent access to and preserve evidence within the <br />scene. A crime scene log was maintained for incoming and outgoing personnel. <br />The 500 block of South Rosewood Avenue was a residential roadway that ran <br />north/south and was located between West Myrtle Street and West Bishop Street. Single- <br />family residences were located on both sides of the roadway. Driveway aprons and sidewalks
