Narrative: On 04/14/2023 at approximately 1823 hours, I removed evidence items #14, #17 and #18 from dry locker #2 for further documentation. Evidence item #14 included a black ³SHAKA WEAR´t-shirt, a dark blue ³SHAKA WEAR´t-shirt, a black ³PRO USA´zip-up hoodie, and a white tank top. I observed the front of the black ³SHAKA WEAR´t-shirt was cut from top to bottom, had red/ brown stains throughout and had a small tear on the front and back of the left sleeve. Next, the front of the dark blue ³SHAKA WEAR´t-shirt was cut from top to bottom, had red/ brown stains throughout and had a small tear on the front and back of the left sleeve. The front of the black ³PRO USA´zip-up hoodie was cut from top to bottom, had red/ brown stains throughout and had two small tears on the front left sleeve, a small tear on the front under the front pocket, and two small tears on the left lower side of the torso area. Lastly, the front of the white tank top was cut from top to bottom and had red stains throughout. I photographed the aforementioned items and areas for documentation purposes. Evidence item #17 included a white sock and a white ³Adidas´shoe. I observed the white sock had a small tear on the front tube area and had red/ brown stains. The white ³Adidas´shoe had multiple red stains throughout. I photographed the aforementioned items and areas for documentation purposes. Evidence item #18 included dark blue ³Ben Davis´pants with a black belt, black ³PRO CLUB´athletic shorts, and an ID card, black wallet, and yellow ³CRKT´switch blade all found on the front left pocket of the pants. The side of the dark blue ³Ben Davis´pants was cut from top to bottom and there were red/ brown stains throughout. Additionally, I observed the dark blue ³Ben Davis´pants had a small tear on the front right thigh area, a small tear on the front lower right leg, a small tear on the front left knee area, multiple tears on the upper back side, multiple tears on the right lower pant leg. The side of the black ³PRO CLUB´athletic shorts was cut from top to bottom, there was red/ brown stains throughout and there was a small tear on the upper left leg, a small tear on the lower left leg, and three tears on the rear upper area of the shorts. The yellow ³CRKT´switch blade had red/ brown stains throughout, the ID card had a picture with the name ³Marvin Melgarejo ´and the wallet had several miscellaneous items inside which included 20 pesos (Mexican currency). I photographed the aforementioned items and areas for documentation purposes. Evidence items #14, #17 and #18 were packaged, sealed/ initialed, booked in as evidence and into the evidence freezer. The 20 pesos in the wallet was removed from the wallet, packaged, sealed/ initialed, booked in as evidence and into the money mailbox. During my investigation, my department issued AXON 3 body worn camera was activated and recording at certain points in the investigation. All 132 photographs were uploaded into DIMS.
